Leap Into Books 2010 - coming soon!

Leap Into Books is Laisterdyke Business & Enterprise College's annual literacy event for about 100 children in and around BD3. This year (2010), we're aiming for a storytelling focus, with a wide range of oral storytellers from a variety of traditions, and a visit at the end.There will be early evening events, which this year will mostly be hosted at the Thornbury Centre, on Old Leeds Road- tickets will be very cheap, and will be available from the school, or from this website as soon aseverything's finalised. We're also planning at least one morning event aimed at giving parents ideas for telling stories to their children, and some events in conjunction with other organisations.
